Work Progressing on Watertown/Oconomowoc Interurban Trail

According to an update from the Watertown/Oconomowoc Interurban Trail, phase 1 of the project is complete. Phase 2 is underway and revolves around earthwork; which includes topsoil stripping, grading, and stoning. Phase 2 extends out to County Trunk Highway F, and will wrap up in early October. Phase 3 starts at Highway F and ends in Oconomowoc. The Engineering on this phase has just begun, but last week the project was awarded $249,999.99 through a Stewardship grant. Timing for Phase 3 will not be available until engineering work is completed.
