WIS 106 Resurfacing Work to Begin

According to an update from Jefferson County WI Government, work to resurface WIS 106 between Edgewater Road in the City of Fort Atkinson and County CI in Jefferson County is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 15. Other improvements include increasing the paved portion of the shoulder from 3 feet to 5 feet within the existing roadway footprint, adding centerline and shoulder rumble strips, and adding new pavement marking lines. Motorists can expect to encounter flagging operations. Construction is currently scheduled for completion in September.
