Whitewater Unified School District Teachers Nominated for 2023 Herb Kohl Teacher Fellowship Award

According to an update from the Whitewater Unified School District, three teachers have been nominated by the district leadership team for the 2023 Herb Kohl Teacher Fellowship Award.

The goal of this award is to support Wisconsin teachers in the pursuit of their unrealized goals for their classrooms or professional development. The 100 Herb Kohl Fellowship recipients and the 100 Wisconsin schools of those teachers will each receive a $6 thousand grant. Teachers nominated from the Whitewater Unified School District include:

Kayla Vaccaro - 1st Grade Teacher, Washington Elementary

Lisa Bollinger - ML Teacher, Whitewater Middle School

Lisa Kaminski - Reading/Math Interventionist, Lincoln Elementary

The winners will be announced in March 2023.
