Whitewater Resident Named 2021 State Natural Areas Volunteer Steward of the Year

According to the City of Whitewater, Whitewater resident Ginny Coburn was named as the 2021 State Natural Areas Volunteer Steward of the Year for her work within the Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest. Coburn started volunteering there about 10 years ago, and serves as a contact for monthly workdays and greets and signs in other volunteers. Coburn is known for her wealth of knowledge, including safely wielding a chainsaw, collecting seeds, and controlling invasive plants.
