Whitewater Fire Department Responds to Smoke-Filled Residence

This morning at about 9:45 a.m. the Whitewater Fire Department was dispatched to the 1500 block of Walworth Ave. for a house filling with smoke. Initial crews found a smoking related fire on the front porch, and the fire was quickly knocked down and there was minimal damage to the structure. Crews were on scene for about half an hour.
