At last night’s Whitewater Common Council meeting, the board approved the creation of five new Tax Incremental Districts, which are TID’s 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14. The creation of the TID’s promote orderly development of the city by creating new industrial sites, creating opportunities for commercial development, providing more opportunities for workplace housing, and also financial incentives for private development projects.
