In this week’s Weekly Roundup from the City of Watertown, Mayor Emily McFarland gave some construction updates. For the project over by the middle school on East Main Street, street crews are currently working on the construction of the retaining wall on the north side of East Main. Work is still continuing, but the use of heavy equipment is completed. Soon the paving company will be returning to the city to place the paving fabric and the surface course of asphalt, which should be around August 18 or 19.
