According to an update from the Wisconsin Educators Association Members Benefits, their Student Art Contest finalists have been selected, and Eliana Hajewski from the Walworth Jt. School District #1 is a finalist. Eleven finalists were selected from over 100 student submissions from across the state based on the theme “Life is full of magical moments”. Later this summer, one finalist will be selected to receive the “Loeymae Lange Memorial Best in Class” award.
The story behind Eliana’s piece says “In the summer, my mom takes me to different beaches. I love to swim and play in the sand…I am happiest when I am at the beach with my mom.”
