Walworth County Board Approves Purchase of Squad Cars

At this week’s Walworth County Board meeting, they approved a resolution creating a new capital improvement project to purchase and replace ten Sheriff’s Office squad cars. The purchase will be made by accelerating the 2023 capital request into 2022, and funding with a transfer of $476,227 from the general fund building/equipment committed fund balance and an expected $50 thousand from the sale of decommissioned surplus squads.
