Village of Johnson Creek Property Tax Bills Sees Increases

In an update from the Village of Johnson Creek, Village President John Swisher discussed property tax bills. Residents will notice a 6.9% increase from the Johnson Creek School District, and a 7.3% increase from Jefferson County. Residents who made updates to their homes may see an additional increase. However, the village board was able to decrease the tax rate for 2021 by 0.7% while maintaining and improving services. 2021 taxes are what is used for the 2022 budget for the village.
