Village of Johnson Creek Gives Update on Leaf Pickup

According to an update from the Village of Johnson Creek, leaves will be picked up once a week with the leaf vacuum beginning in November until it freezes. The village asks that residents do not pile leaves around mailboxes, as the hose may cause damage; and the Village is not responsible for any damage to mailboxes. Leaves should be raked to the terrace, but not into the street. Residents can also put leaves into biodegradable bags to take to the compost site with a compost card.
