Upcoming Work in County Trunk Highway S in Jefferson County

According to an update from Jefferson County WI Government, the highway department will be resurfacing County Trunk Highway S from County Trunk Highway A to County Trunk Highway B. Work will take place beginning the week of August 1 and go throughout the end of August or early September. The existing deteriorated asphalt pavement will be pulverized followed by the installation of culverts. Upon completion of the culverts, the roadway will be graded and compacted prior to paving the roadway. During construction the roadway will be closed to through traffic, but access will be maintained to local residences and businesses, as well as emergency vehicles. During construction, drivers will need to find an alternate route to travel.
