According to an update from the City of Jefferson, overhead wire relocation has been completed and resurfacing of Riverside Alley is ready to commence. The contractor will begin construction on Riverside Alley between Dodge Street and Candise Street beginning Tuesday, July 5. Construction will begin with pulverizing, minimal underground utility work, followed by work on private parking areas, final grading, and paving. Tentatively, paving will be completed by August 1, weather permitting. Parking will be limited or non accessible at times during construction but public parking is available in municipal lots behind City Hall and within public streets.
