According to a press release from the Winnebago County Highway Department, beginning on Monday, October 3, roadway patching and resurfacing construction work will begin on Prairie Hill Road between Illinois Route 2 and Illinois Route 251 in the City of South Beloit. The work is expected to be completed by October 31, 2022. However, the duration of the work is dependent on the weather. Drivers should use alternate routes, and delays should be expected.
