According to an update from the City of Whitewater, recently the city has experienced extreme heat which has caused the concrete to buckle at two locations on Main Street. On Monday, June 27, construction will begin at both locations. Construction is expected to last until July 5. Westbound traffic will be directed to an Eastbound lane and Eastbound traffic lanes will be condensed into one lane.
