Two High School Students Expelled from School District of Janesville

In a news release from the School District of Janesville, they have announced the expulsion of two high school students. They were charged with conduct which endangered the property, health, and safety of others by engaging in a physical fight with other students. Director of Pupil Services for the district, Kim Peerenboom, briefly discussed that the fight occurred due to an undisclosed incident that happened in the community, that was then brought into the school. They will be expelled from the district until age 21, with the possibility of early reinstatement after the spring 2022 semester if certain conditions are met. These conditions include but are not limited to no more criminal behavior, attending and participating in mental health counseling, and more.
