Two Charged In Shooting Of UWW Grad

Two people are facing charges in the shooting of a former UW-Whitewater student and fraternity president. Multiple sources report that 17-year old Tyrell Joseph and 17-year old Ismael Moreno are on the run, but facing charges in the death of 22-year old Purcell Pearson in Milwaukee on February 6. Joseph and Moreno have been charged by Milwaukee Police with one count of first degree reckless homicide. According to the report, Pearson and his brother were robbed while attempting to sell designer glasses. Pearson reportedly was shot while hanging on to the side of the van that was used in the robbery, and after being shot, he ran about 20 yards before collapsing. Pearson was the president of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity at UWW, and recently graduated.
