In an update from the City of Janesville, they have announced delivery of two replacement transit buses for the Janesville Transit System (JTS) fleet. The newly arrived JTS Bus #470 and #471 replace two buses purchased in 2006, each nearing 700,000 miles in service to the Janesville community. Their presence also marks the completion of JTS' most recent bus replacement program. This cycle started in 2013 and saw the system replace 17 buses.
With this cycle bus replacements complete, JTS's bus fleet is now valued at $7.47 million. For questions, contact JTS at (608) 755-3150.
