Street Closures in Janesville Start May 12

From the City of Janesville’s Facebook Page, they’re letting residents know that the portions of Lincoln Street, West Van Buren Street and Wilson Avenue are closing to through traffic starting Friday (May 12).

Through-street traffic on Lincoln Street will be closed from South High Street to Rockport Road.

West Van Buren Street from Cherry Street to Lincoln Street.

Wilson Avenue from Cherry Street to Park Avenue. The streets will remain closed until late September as contractors working for the city perform utility improvements, replace the curb and gutter, and reconstruct street pavement. Local access to driveways within the closure will generally be maintained. For questions, contact the Engineering Division at (608) 755-3169.
