According to an update from the South Beloit Police Department, in May of this year they received a complaint of illegal narcotics sales that was occurring in the 600 block of S. Bluff St. An investigation was initiated at that time. Subsequent to this investigation, a residence and suspect were identified as being the source of narcotics.
Yesterday a search warrant was executed at a residence on Bluff St. Suspected narcotics were located in the residence along with further evidence of drug sales and firearm ammunition. The individual in possession of the firearm ammunition did not possess a valid Illinois FOID card.
As a result of this incident, 63 year old South Beloit resident, Donna Honaker, is facing charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Also, 46 year old South Beloit resident Tommy Honaker is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance (Fentanyl), and possession of ammunition without requisite FOID card.
