South Beloit Man Facing Multiple Drug Charges After Search of Residence

According to an update from the South Beloit Police Department, in August of 2022 they received several complaints from community members regarding an individual selling narcotics from an apartment building in the 5100 block of Chesney Dr. An investigation was opened and the source of the narcotics sales was identified as 26 year old Christian Bell of South Beloit.

On Friday October 7 a search warrant was executed by the South Beloit Police Department along with the assistance from the Illinois State Police SWAT team. A search of the residence yielded approximately 60 grams of fentanyl, 14 grams of crack cocaine, and other items of evidence.

The case was reviewed by the Winnebago County State's Attorney's Office who authorized the following charges:

Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)

Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine)

Endangering the Life/Health of a Child
