Sidewalk Closure on East Jefferson Street in Burlington

According to an update from the Burlington WI Police Department, the Jefferson Street Reconstruction Project has required the closure of the sidewalks on East Jefferson Street. The Burlington Police Department (BUPD), Municipal Court, and City Council Chambers are accessible by entering off the alley on Washington Street by the entrance to the Parking Structure, or by using the alley on Dodge Street between the BUPD and Probation and Parole buildings.

Parking is available on the street, in the Parking Structure, or in the municipal lot off Dodge Street. See the photograph below in which the yellow arrows indicate designated walking routes. Please do not park in the alleyways.
