According to a press release from the School District of Janesville, they have announced the recommendation to hire Sarah Brehm as the new Principal for Jackson Elementary School. Brehm currently serves as Academic Learning Coach at Jackson, and since April 2022, the acting Principal at the school. Upon school board approval, she will begin her new position at Jackson on July 1, 2022. Brehm began in the School District of Janesville in the 2013/2014 school year as a first and second grade looping teacher at Kennedy Elementary School. She then served as the Academic Learning Coach at Jackson Elementary School from August of 2021 to June of 2022.
Brehm received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education (2005) from
the University of Toledo, and a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership (2019) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She holds Wisconsin educator licenses in Regular Education: Early Childhood Birth - Grade 3, and Principal: PreK-Grade 12. There were 18 total applicants for this position.
