Police in Rock County have arrested a man after they said he led them on a pursuit from Janesville into Beloit. In the 9 PM hour last night, police were requested in the 1000 block of South Washington St where they were told a male was threatening to kill a female. The suspect, identified as Ladale Johnson, had a history of firearm related incidents and had active felony warrants. He was also already on probation. Johnson fled the scene in the vehicle and was pursued by police into Beloit, where unsuccessful tire deflation attempts occurred. After another attempt, Johnson tried to flee on foot in the 700 block of Park Avenue in Beloit but was captured just after 11 PM. In addition to 5 warrants, he is charged with fleeing an officer and with disorderly conduct/domestic violence.
