Rock County Human Services to Continue Accepting Applications for ARPA Grants to Combat Homelessness

According to a press release from Rock County Human Services, they will continue to accept applications for $3 million in American Rescue Plan Act grant funds to combat homelessness in Rock County. The Rock County Board of Supervisors allocated $3 million of ARPA funds to develop and implement a matching grant program, which encourages local development of programs aimed at reducing homelessness.

After an initial application period, the deadline has been extended until November 4, 2022 to allow for the submission of additional proposals.

Community non-profit organizations and municipalities in Rock County are eligible to submit applications for these funds. Proposed initiatives must focus on creating new and/or expanding existing services to serve homeless individuals or families and support homelessness prevention efforts.

Applications must be submitted by November 4, 2022 by 5 p.m. to be considered. For more information, see the attachment below.
