Rock County Board Approves Purchase for Human Services Department

Last night at the rock county board meeting, they approved the purchase of two specialized transit vehicles for the Human Services Department-Aging Unit. Residents rely on this system as an affordable way to meet their needs to get to and from medical appointments, shopping, employment, and more. The Human Services Department-Aging Unit maintains a fleet of twelve transit vehicles for the Specialized Transportation Program, and multiple vehicles in the Rock County Transit fleet are in need of replacement due to age, mileage, and excessive repairs.
