Last week at the Rock County Board of Supervisors meeting, the board passed a resolution to allocate ARPA Funding to Community Health Systems so they can expand their behavioral
health services in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Community Health Systems is a non-profit that provides services to those who lack access to health care, especially low-income individuals who are uninsured, on Medicaid or Medicare, or who have private insurance but limited means to pay for quality health care. The Rock County Board voted to allocate $350 thousand from ARPA funding to cover construction costs associated with this physical expansion.
