According to a press release, on Thursday Representatives Sue Conley (D-Janesville) and Mark Spreitzer (D-Beloit) presented a legislative citation on behalf of themselves and Senator Janis Ringhand (D-Evansville) to the Janesville League of Women Voters in honor of Rock County election staff and volunteers. The citation also recognizes Janesville City Clerk-Treasurer Lori Stottler, who has administered numerous elections in Rock County.
The Janesville League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization that serves Janesville, Milton, Edgerton, and Evansville. The League works to support democracy through voter education and advocacy for the protection of voting rights.
