After telling patients that there would be a delay in distributing vaccines, Mercyhealth announced the good news that first doses will resume at Mercyhealth Janesville next week. According to WKOW, a spokesperson says the planning process is underway to resume first dose vaccinations in Rock County. The reasoning behind cancellation of the recent appointments is because the hospital, which receives both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, only received shipments of the Moderna vaccine. Pfizer vaccines are used at the Janesville location, while Moderna is used at the Walworth location.
