Petition Packets Available in South Beloit for Mayor or Commissioner

According to a press release from the City of South Beloit, petition packets are now available for those wishing to serve in the city as Mayor or Commissioner. Packets are available during regular business hours, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the City Clerk’s Office. Filing dates will be December 12-19 for the Consolidated Election that will be held on April 4, 2023.

The 2023 Candidate’s Guide for the Consolidated Election can be found on the Illinois State Board of Elections website, www.elections.il.gov. Questions regarding required documents to file as a candidate for election should be directed to the Illinois State Board of Elections at 312-814-6440.
