Paving of Peace Trail Completed

According to an update from the City of Janesville, paving of the Peace Trail is complete. The project has extended the paved off-road trail from Tripp Road in Janesville to Big Hill Park in Beloit with approximately .75 miles of on-road bike lane through Afton. Funding for the paving came from the City of Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin DNR grants, the Rock Trail Coalition, and private donors. Crews will now use today to complete finishing shouldering work.
