According to an update from the City of Janesville, a contractor working for the city will begin pavement replacement work at Traxler Park today. The park will remain open to pedestrian access and use during construction. However, the contractor will restrict vehicular access on weekdays. The park will be closed to traffic on weekdays from 7 a.m. on Mondays until 5 p.m. on Fridays. The park will reopen to vehicles on weekends.
