The City of Jefferson Schools has added a candidate to its superintendent race. The Watertown Daily Times reports that Dr Charles Urness was added to the list of candidates. Urness’ addition is due to a previous candidate, Jeffrey Fleig, removing himself from the race. School District of Jefferson is scheduled to announce their new superintendent on April 19, after interviewing Urness, as well as Peter Wilson and Amy Vesperman, scheduled for today, and will be made public by the end of next week, before the final decision is made.
