According to an update from the Village of Mukwonago, the Wastewater Treatment Plant has been undergoing maintenance to its aeration basins. In the below image, you can see the newly replaced aeration diffusers at the bottom of the tank, concrete repairs, and paint to piping and tank structures. The aeration basins are a crucial part of the waste treatment process where microorganisms are used to biologically remove contaminants from the water. This maintenance ensures proper operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
