In an update from the Mukwonago Area School District, they have shared information regarding reports that the Mukwonago Area School District requested and was granted a restraining order against a former student. The district says that it is true that a former student made several visits to Prairie View Elementary School last week, prompting multiple ambulance and police calls. However, there have been no threats or danger to the schools or any students. The former student was explicitly told to stay off school grounds. After the student again visited Prairie View, the district filed for the restraining order as a way to continue the legal process of keeping her off school grounds and ensuring that the individual could receive additional support as needed. The entire Mukwonago Area School District is included on the restraining order out of an abundance of caution. Police presence at Prairie View Elementary School will occur through the remainder of the year, and additional patrols have been requested at all schools.
