In an update from the Milton Police Department, they are asking parents of middle school students to be mindful when it comes to picking up their students. Vehicles are able to wait on Madison Avenue for their student, but neighbors have been reporting that they are struggling with their mailboxes and driveways being blocked. Police have heard stories of people in the neighborhood having to pick up a large amount of mail at the post office on Saturday because their mailbox has been blocked every day of the week after school. The department reminds parents and guardians picking up their students that parking ordinances require 10 feet from mailboxes and 4 feet from driveways.
