Milton Common Council Discusses Purchase of Land

Last night at the Milton Common Council meeting, they discussed the option of purchasing approximately 117 acres of land at the north west corner of Milton/Harmony Townline Road and North Vickerman Road in the Town of Milton. If the purchase were to occur, the city would annex the land from the town. The purchase would be in the amount of $35 thousand per acre. The city is considering this option due to expansion of the east side industrial park. The city has until May 31 of 2023 to decide if they want to buy the entirety of the land, a portion of the land, or none at all.
