In the recent Weekly Roundup from the City of Watertown, Mayor Emily McFarland gave an update on the plaza. Last year there was a seawall failure, and some of that was able to be replaced with gravel. The city is hoping this year to complete removing the remaining bins and putting in the natural rock that is in the existing area. After that, they will be putting in a concrete ramp and railing that will go up on the Main Street Bridge. Once that is all done, the plaza will be accessible from Main Street.
