Yesterday (March 29) the Lyons Township Fire Department was dispatched to the 1200 block of Clausen Rd., in the Town of Lyons in Walworth County for a report of a barn fire.

A large amount of smoke was seen by the Fire Department as they approached. Fire was coming through the roof of the barn. The fire did not spread to other buildings on the property. No one was injured during this incident. The cause of the fire is undetermined; however, no criminal activity is suspect. The property loss is estimated to be around $450,000.
