Linn-Bloomfield School District Placing Referendum On Ballot

The Linn-Bloomfield Joint No. 4 School District’s Board has placed a referendum on the April 6 election ballot. According to the LGRN, the referendum, if approved, would seek to allow exceeded spending of $250,000 for the 2021-22 school year and beyond. The funding would be used to help pay for a variety of projects, from student activities to utility and maintenance projects at Traver Elementary School. The district’s mill rate would increase by about 35 cents if approved, but it would decrease during the 2022-2023 school year.
