According to an update from the City of Lake Mills Police Department, yesterday at about 8:30 p.m. they received a 911 call from the Jefferson County Dispatch of a robbery in progress at a fast food business at 190 West Tyranena Park Road in the City of Lake Mills. Officers responded to the business and learned that the subject was no longer at the business.
Staff informed Officers that a male subject, operating a red/maroon Jeep Wrangler, arrived at
the drive though and proceeded to hand over a note to staff instructing them to hand over money. Staff informed Officers that the male subject threatened the use of a firearm. However, no weapons were used or brandished.
Staff ultimately complied with the demands of the suspect and contacted Law Enforcement. Nobody was injured during this situation. The Lake Mills Police Department is actively investigating the incident, and anybody with additional information is asked to call the Lake Mills Police Department non-emergency number at 920-648-2354.
