Lake Geneva Police Warning of Scam

According to an update from the Lake Geneva Police Department, they have been receiving complaints regarding a scam where the scammer claims they are from the police department and are demanding citizens pay outstanding warrants in the form of prepaid cards. The police department reminds the public that no legitimate entity will be requesting payment in the form of gift cards.
