According to an update from the Lake Geneva Police Department, on April 21 at about 12:22 a.m. officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Broad St. for a report of a subject mistreating a dog. Upon arrival, officers found the subject had brought his dog inside of a bar and threw the dog against a window. The officers took 21 year old Lake Geneva resident Kyle William Santiago into custody and referred charges up to the Walworth County District Attorney’s Office for disorderly conduct and resisting an officer. Santiago was subsequently confined in the Walworth County Jail on these charges. The dog was released to a family member.
