Lake Geneva Police Issue Multiple Citations on Three Individuals in their 20's

According to an update from the Lake Geneva Police Department, on June 12 at about 2:15 a.m. an officer was investigating a separate complaint when they made contact with subjects in a vehicle in the area of Center St. at Wisconsin St. As the officer was speaking with the subjects, two passengers fled the scene on foot. These subjects were located a short time later and citations were issued to 25 year old Lake Geneva resident Jose Maria Jimenez Cruz, for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle – driver and 22 year old Harvard, Illinois resident Mariam Barranco Juarez, for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle – passenger, disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer. Charges of possession of cocaine and misdemeanor bail jumping have been referred up to the Walworth County District Attorney’s Office on 26 year old Lake Geneva resident Leonardo Valadez, and he was also issued citations for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle – passenger and resisting an officer. All subjects were released to a responsible party.
