Lake Geneva Police Arrest Janesville Man and Royal Oak, Michigan Woman on Drug Charges

According to an update from the Lake Geneva Police Department, on January 7 at about 2:45 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on W. Main St. at Pearson Dr. The driver, Janesville resident 34 year old Jason West, was taken into custody and charges were referred up to the Walworth County District Arrorney's Office for two charges of carrying a concealed weapon, misdemeanor bail jumping, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was confined in the Walworth County Jail on these charges. A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Royal Oak, Michigan woman 45 year old Leta Adrienne Eckert. She was also taken into custody and charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC with intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia were referred up to the Walworth County District Attorney’s Office. She was confined to Walworth County Jail on these charges.
