According to an update from the Village of Johnson Creek, beginning on Friday the Compost Site will require a compost card for residents to have access. The card system was implemented to help mitigate the misuse of the compost site by non-Johnson Creek residents and businesses, and to also alleviate the significant costs that went along with that misuse. Interested Johnson Creek residents and Johnson Creek businesses may apply for a compost card by accessing the application link by visiting www.johnsoncreek-wi.us or Village Hall. Cards are $10 and are issued one per household/business. This added service does NOT take away or replace the regular compost/brush pick up schedule. That schedule is also available on the website.
