Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Participating in Ignition Interlock Device Task Force Grant

According to a press release from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, they were selected by the Bureau of Transportation Safety to participate in an Ignition Interlock Device Task Force Grant to ensure compliance with state statutes. The funding for the grant is $7,500, and it will take place from March through August. Officers will work to educate, monitor compliance and enforce Ignition Interlock Device regulations.
