According to a press release from the Janesville Police Department, yesterday at about 9:10 p.m. officers investigated an armed robbery that occurred in the 1700 block of Green Forest Run Street. Three unknown males approached an Amazon package delivery van and demanded money from the driver. One of the suspects displayed a black handgun threatening the driver to hand over their wallet. The victim complied, however, did not have any money. The suspects then took an undisclosed number of packages from the van and fled in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured during the robbery. The three suspects are described as follows:
Late teens/early twenties male black wearing a red hoodie, gray jogger sweatpants, and socks with sandals. This suspect displayed the black handgun.
Late teens/early twenties male black wearing a black shiny jacket with a red symbol on the front, jeans with a rip in the knee, and red and black tennis shoes.
Late teens/early twenties male black wearing a gray and black puffy coat, mask showing only his eyes, and white or light-colored tennis shoes.
