A man arrested for OWI in early 2019 has sent a heartfelt letter to the Janesville Police Department thanking them for helping him turn his life around. The man, who was only identified by his initials, expressed his gratitude for opening his eyes to his fault. The man was arrested on January 2nd, 2019 for an OWI after blowing a .14 BAC on a sobriety test. Since then, the man says that he has a stable job and relationship, and is thanking the Janesville Police Department for treating him with respect. In addition, the man thanks the police for keeping the community safe, and specifically addressed the officer who arrested him in 2019 for serving the community.
