A former Janesville man plead guilty to damaging Delavan police cars causing more than 10 thousand dollar in damages according to court records. Ricardo Ortiz plead guilty to criminal damage to property with other charges dismissed and read into the court record. Ortiz told police he hit the cars because of financial problems and because white people took his land, Ortiz is native american, he caused 10,361 dollars in damage to 3 squad cars. Breath tests showed that Ortiz had a blood alcohol level of .19 and is scheduled for sentencing March 26th.
